World Relief Fox Valley's Immigration Legal Services (ILS) department exists to provide comprehensive immigration legal services for nominal fees to immigrants in the community with the greatest need. Our services are not free, as there are substantial costs to operate our legal services program.
It is recommended that all people seeking immigration legal assistance should go to an attorney or accredited representative. While we appreciate the community at large, World Relief Fox Valley cannot recommend or approve of unauthorized practice of law, which includes providing any legal assistance by a non-attorney or non-accredited representative. Our ILS department is recognized by the United States of America Department of Justice, and currently has two Department of Justice Accredited Representatives on staff authorized to practice immigration law. In addition, our office is in partnership with World Relief's home office Immigration Legal Services, which provides technical assistance and has staff attorneys who are able to assist with complex situations.
Our ILS department will meet with anyone for a consultation, regardless of his/her legal status, to determine if there is a course of action that can be taken for each particular case and how to do that most effectively. Please contact our ILS department at 920-840-3136 or stop by our Appleton or Oshkosh office from 9 am to noon on Tuesdays or Thursdays to schedule an immigration consultation.
